I AM: a New York City Fashion Stylist, a “secret weapon” behind the wardrobes of some of New York’s most fashionably dressed men and women. I’m a style obsessed twenty year fashion industry veteran and have lived in downtown NYC for just as long. I’m a fashion lover and diehard New Yorker. I’m a firm believer in the power of looking and feeling one’s personal best and understand that personal style is about so much more than what’s on the runway.

I CREATE: wardrobes that are stylish, functional and versatile, with a perfect look for every occasion. After working with me, a client will have fewer items in their closet but more outfit combinations because an intelligently curated wardrobe is like a jigsaw puzzle- every piece is connected and part of an integrated larger whole. My approach is hands on, collaborative and always customized to the individual. Aesthetic preferences, goals, body, budget and lifestyle are always considered.

MY GOAL: is to make dressing enjoyable, streamlined and easy for clients and to deliver an organized, clutter free closet. I help my clients recapture their most precious commodity- their time! Success is when a client tells me that they are having fun with their clothing, that they’re feeling confident in their look, pulled together and updated. I encourage clients to push beyond their comfort zone, which results in them feeling like better versions of themselves.

I LOVE: to make a positive difference in an individual’s life. I love using fashion as my medium. I get bored if I’m not constantly being creative! I love being a role model for my children. I put my heart and soul into my work and I am grateful to be able to do work I feel so passionate about. I love to create wardrobes that are reflective of each client’s unique sensibility and taste.

MY CLIENTS: are women, men, professionals, creatives, chic moms and world travelers with busy, fast paced lifestyles. They are of all types and all walks of life. They are smart, sophisticated, on the go people making a mark in the world. They are people who appreciate an intelligent and elevated approach to style, but don’t have the time or know how to do it effectively on their own. Many of my clients seek guidance in helping to discover what their personal style is or can be.

MY STORY: I’ve been obsessed with fashion imagery and style since the age of twelve! I dreamed of a career in fashion and at the age of twenty one, I began working as a stylist’s assistant at Seventeen Magazine.

I spent the next twelve years working as a Fashion Editor and Stylist in the fashion editorial world. As a magazine editor, I spent my days working with fashion designers, reporting from the front row at fashion shows, conceptualizing fashion stories and choosing the clothing that was featured in the magazines. I traveled the world styling photo shoots, dressing celebrities and worked with some of the industry’s most respected photographers.

Eventually, as my husband and I started our family, I began to crave more of a personal dynamic with clients. I started by working with my own peers, new moms, helping them cultivate a cool, casual, pulled together look for school drop off, the playground and nights out. I called it “The Mommy Makeover.” That was ten years ago… the rest is history!

CREDS: I have had the opportunity to work with numerous top national magazines such as Marie Claire, Elle, In Style, Allure, Lucky, Teen Vogue, Seventeen, Glamour, Self and Real Simple.

I’ve worked with many celebrities over the years, from Cameron Diaz, Claire Danes, Jessica Alba, Cynthia Nixon, Julianna Margulies, Amanda Peet and the singer Pink, to Sean Combs, Matthew Perry and Don Cheadle.

I frequently collaborate on projects with brands I love and admire. Some of these brands have included Mandarin Oriental Hotels, Smytheson of Bond Street, Urby, Glam.com, Blue Star Private Jets and Hayes & Jarvis, a UK based luxury travel agency.

MY PERSONAL STYLE: is cool, effortless, relaxed, current but never overly trendy or overly accessorized. Always with a large dose of bohemian attitude! Earthy. Always a high / low mix. My motto has always been Balenciaga with Birkenstocks. Sophisticated. On the go. Real. Authentic. Modern. Fresh. No visible logos!

MY UNIFORM: and most loved pieces in my closet are my Rick Owens classic black leather motorcycle jacket, jeans, jeans, jeans- all types, Givenchy black leather pointed toe pumps, ANY accessory from Tulum based designer Hacienda Montaecristo, Current Elliot faded shrunken denim jacket. My Catbird thin rose gold first knuckle ring that I wear as a non traditional wedding band, pretty much anything by Isabel Marant or Vivian ramsay .…my beloved Balenciaga blue and red medallion print silk tiered floor length dress, clogs- always clogs! One of a kind pieces picked up in far flung lands, bags by under the radar, indie designers, my Dad’s oversized men’s Cartier tank watch and my Grandmother’s vintage Saint Laurent and Missoni pieces.
